The heartland of Germany

Located in the center of Germany Saxony – Anhalt has got five UNESCO World Heritage sites: the old town of Quedlingburg, Luther memorials in Eisleben and Wittenberg, Bauhaus architecture in Dessau, the Naumburg cathedral and the Garden Kingdom of Dessau-Wörlitz.

Several nature parks, a national park and the lake and river landssapes invite for hiking, biking, canoeing or horsback riding. History and culture interested guests find highlighted routes, ie. The Romanesque route or the Sky Paths.
